This car's history.........
Built in Detroit on 2nd September 1947, this red Plymouth convertible was supplied new by Gettysburg Motors of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
No details of its early history are known, but the car was purchased for restoration, by a local family, in the late 1970s and remained in the area, with its new owners, until 2004.
The current owner imported the car to the UK and has since undertaken a programme of continuous improvement.
Extremely rare in the UK, this Plymouth Convertible is one of less than 300 believed to have survived worldwide, from a total production run of just over 15,000.
